The Rapa Nui’s island isn’t very big, so now economy wouldn’t be very developed because of the very confined spaces. This problem was amplified in the past. The most dangerous fact was that in the past people didn’t know about the very few resources, an so they abused of that on the island. The main resouces were fishing and agriculture. Althought the island was situated in the pacific ocean, fishing was imited, and agriculture couldn’t be very big because of: 1) the less area of land; 2) the climate that was different instead the european one; 3) the less species of crops that could grow. So, we can say that as the other charateristics of the island, everything was limited and little, as we can see in the rise of this population.
